How to Choose the Right Medical Director for Your Med Spa

  Not every medical director is worth what a clinic pays them. Some sign the paperwork once and disappear. Others genuinely show up, review charts, and catch problems before they turn into liabilities. The difference between those two types rarely shows up during the interview. It shows up six months later, usually during a compliance review or, worse, after an adverse event. Ask About Availability Before Anything Else A physician juggling five other clinics on top of their own practice isn't going to have meaningful bandwidth for real oversight. Ask directly how many other facilities they currently oversee, and how they structure their review schedule across all of them.
